Al Cappuccino is an absolute gem in Newport Beach! I worked in the area for several years, and this place quickly became a favorite. Whether you're in the mood for a breakfast sandwich or their smoked salmon, everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. But the real star of the show? Their iced coffee! It's hands-down some of the best I've had, and it became a go-to for me and my coworkers. Morning runs to Al Cappuccino were a regular part of our routine, and it's no exaggeration to say it helped kickstart our days with a perfect balance of great coffee and good vibes. Even though I no longer work near Newport, I always make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in the area. This place is well worth the visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food and coffee in a welcoming spot.

My favorite coffee shop in Newps! Been a long time customer and love that it's always been a "mom and pop" owner operated place, even when ownership has shifted over the years. Super small and cozy with just a few seats and so weekend mornings the line can go out the door. Clientele can be a "who's who" of the surf and action sports world often with its proximity to the beach and waves and surf industry. Great bagels and sandwiches and other food. Good choices of coffee drinks, lattes, cappuccinos, smoothies, fresh squeezed OJ, Açaí with fruit and granola, etc. Love me some "Al Capp!!"

One of the best Flat Whites I have ever had in SoCal - not too milky like other spots. The gal who made it I think was Naomi according to the text slip - super friendly and knows how to barista it up. I randomly found this small and unassuming spot but dang it is a treasure for this coffee addict/snob. Wish y'all had pumpernickel bagels.

Visited twice in one week! Off of PCH, near my office! Been meaning to try it, but always hesitant to try new coffee spots. So far I've only had a spicy chai latte with 4 shots of espresso. The second time around I had the same drink, plus a bagel with avocado, tomato, and lemon. Staff was nice and really know their regulars. There are two tables, so more of just a grab and go situation.

I love the peanut butter power protein smoothies. They are always great. This place gets pretty busy, I usually order online and it's ready by the time I get there!

This is an awesome place. Friendly service makes you feel welcome. I have been here on and off and today I'm craving for a lox bagel. They make the best in town. I was only bummed they don't have sourdough as an option. Im watching my sugar intake and sourdough has a kinder response to my blood sugar. I opted for wheat as my bagel of choice. There are some seating inside, but really it's a takeout place doing brisk business with their morning regular crowd. I'm happy they are embedded in the community and I will continue coming to this place year after year

I love their salmon lox and smoothies. They have the best smoothies in the town. My favorites are Peanut Banana Power and Fun in the Sun.

I've been coming here for years with my family, the Al Cap special is my favorite bagel ever. This place is better than Shirley's bagels which says a lot. It's family owned which I love and they always have the best smoothies, coffee (which if you get the iced it's coffee ice cubs) and bagels. I usually get the everything bagel or the sesame both are really good and I add a lot of extra lemon pepper. if you don't like tomatoes, try swapping them out for cucumber on your bagel instead. if you love peanut butter, try the peanut butter power or the almond butter one both are amazing if you want a free smoothie, I like the POG one. service is always great, depending on how busy it is usually your food/drinks come out pretty quick.
